Jerial: Jerial hurried through the forest. If he didn't have to continue sticking his poor feet into all of this wretched mud, he most certainly would not dawdle here. Unfortunately for him, it seemed Lady Luck was against him, as thorny vine ensnared his foot. With a thud, Jerial crashed into the soil below. He pried and pried at the vine, hoping to get it off, but to no avail. "Goddess, I beg you, please let there be someone nearby to help me." Jerial sighed and continued prying away.

Vanda: Vanda's eyes shifted looking at the scenery, snow wasn't a common sight for her, during her observing she sees a gerudo in the distance, a sight she didn't see often around Hyrule. Her eyes lit up like fireworks. "Lump hurry!" *she said loudly rushing over on the bullbo, lump also seemed happy. Vanda demounted and looked at the male gerudo her face going red "mmmumuumum... " *she didn't know what to think, males aren't common for gerudo she didn't know what to say. "Are you hurt!?" it was quite a dumb and obvious thing to ask, given the situation tho intelligible speech wasn't... possible. She tried to look calm, but her face was glowing.

Jerial: Oh thank the Goddess, someone's here. Without looking up, Jerial was filled with relief. Upon seeing his savior, however, relief was the last thing on his mind. Oh curse the Goddess, it's a Gerudo. He tried not to let the thought faze him as he smiled up at the woman before him. "You mean beyond this lovely vine wrapped round my ankle? Couldn't be better." He pried one last time before finally giving up. "I hate to be a bother to a fellow kinsman, but would you mind helping me?"

Vanda: She smiled at him, her face turning to concern on how he got in such a state. "It's not a bother of course I will help" *she knelled down, and took her Gerudo scimitar out, cutting the vine as to not her the man. Once the vine was cut her face was in focus mode, looking his body up and down trying to make sure there we no other injuries. "I'm sorry I didn't introduce myself, I'm Vanda and you are?" *she was happy to see another Gerudo she doesn't see many in Hyrule.

Jerial: With a sigh of relief, Jerial propped himself to his feet. He reluctantly began to wipe the bits of snow and mud that had stuck to his body while wrestling with the vine off with a dainty flick of his hands. No excuse for looking poor during a first impression. "Jerial. Pleasure to meet you." He smiled at her, though it wavered. Finding a fellow Gerudo could either be a blessing or a curse, and he wasn't sure which this would turn out to be. "I'm curious, what brings you out into the woods in the middle of winter?"

Vanda: Vanda put her hand on Lump. "Well me and Lump are traveling through Hyrule to find a cure, for my tribe of people... " She says in earnest. She looked the man up and down, noticing he must have been new around here, and obviously didn't enjoy the weather. "How about you? I'm surprised, I haven't seen many Gerudo around these parts." Lump blew air through his nose and sat down.

Jerial: He felt her gaze over him and pulled his poncho a bit tighter to him. He must look horribly out of place in the middle of this winter wonderland. He wasn't sure if he should tell the woman his goal yet or not. She certainly didn't seem malicious. "Why I am here? Well, why don't you tell me a bit more of your situation before I explain all my woes, hm? You said your tribe is sick. I hate to hear that of my fellow Gerudo. What happened?"

Vanda: She noticed them become uncomfortable and locked eyes with em " Your woes?" she shook her head, her curiosity getting the better of her. She blushes again, but then the topic took serious as the question came out his mouth. "We are unaware of what caused our sickness... some in my village blame Ganon's rule others call it a curse for not following Ganon himself." *she looked away from him. "I'm a Witch Doctor in the village, I tried to find a cure but was unable and had to search outside the desert to find one, that is why I'm here." *she looked at the man with a more serious face, and then began to cough blood, her hand covering her mouth, which then he quickly wiped "My... apologies"

Jerial: Jerial could physically feel his heart drop. His people were dying...and they blame the only other male Gerudo in existence. His stomach twisted itself into knots. Seeing the woman cough up blood, however, made his eyes bulge wide. "Don't be sorry. That is...I should be the one apologizing. To do something like that for you - for our people - is admirable, to say the least." Spying the blood once more, he added, carefully, "however, are you okay, my lady?"

Vanda: She looked up weakly at the man. "You have no need to apologize..." *she sighed, she hated being so sick herself, and showing others but she couldn't control it. "I'm fine, I'm sorry for worrying you really I am..." *she paused a bit blushing, wanted to ask how a Gerudo male is even possible but the words not forming, and it seemed rude at the time. "You will be happy to know, not all the Gerudo Tribes are sick... only mine." she figured she would clarify and inform "So I forgot what is it again that brings a gerudo..." her tone becomes more intense "...male into Hyrule?"

Jerial: This poor woman. He wished he could do more for her. But for now, the least he could do was answer her question. He knew she meant no harm. She simply shared that killer curiosity that seemed to be an inherent trait of the Gerudo, if the two of them were anything to go by. "Ahh, that is an...interesting topic." He shifted uncomfortably by her, seating himself on the ground. "Well, I guess you could say I'm searching for answers. I don't know this Ganondorf, beyond the fact that our people revere him as some sort of god, but I certainly don't think he is anything of the sort. An evil god, if anything. I need to understand him. I think, if I can do that, maybe I can have some answers about myself cleared up, too." He glanced at her now, sheepishly. "I suppose that sounds crazy, doesn't it?"

Vanda: She was shocked at first at his words, unsure of what to say. a smile appeared on her face and she looked to Lump then back the Gerudo Man " Sure it sounds crazy, but it makes sense. Two Gerudo Males has been un-heard of till now so understanding the other one might help you." *she sighed* "However it won't be easy Gannon isn't the talking type from what I've heard." She looked at him worryingly, maybe she could help him .

Jerial: Well, at least someone didn't think he was crazy. The last time he had brought that up went less than ideally. He sighed, running his hand through his hair to calm himself. "So I've heard. How charming." He rolled his eyes before turning his gaze to her. Such a kind, warm look on such a worn woman. It made him curious. "What about you? You're a Gerudo, too. What do you think of the Mad King of Hyrule?"

Vanda: Vanda shifted uncomfortably at the question, holding her arm. "Well... if he made my tribe sick I do not know, there's no evidence." she sighed and then began coughing, her hand going to her mouth, which she scrunched her face irritated. "Sorry"
"However he did kill the previous king, and the hero. He also has caused a lot of trouble all across Hyrule for many people."
"I am not to fond of the mad king, I would say I dislike him." She looked sad, she hopped such a response would not upset or anger the only other male Gerudo. But it was the truth.

Jerial: Jerial's expression eased a bit upon her response, despite the discomfort she clearly displayed at answering it. "Honesty. I appreciate that." He smirked at her. "Luckily for you, I happen to share that opinion. I may not have met the man, but I don't need to in order to know that he's no one I wish to call kinsman. I'm sure that surprises you." Slowly but surely, he rose to his feet, stretching his previously injured leg out a bit while doing so. "Well, no point in staying out in the cold longer than we have to. We're not exactly built for that, are we? Were you heading somewhere? I hope you don't mind if I come with you. Gerudo are few and far between here, it seems."

Vanda: She was glad the man wasn't upset by her response, and was delighted that he agreed. She smiled weakly as always. "Ah yes, this weather is getting rather cold." She sighed. chattering her lips a bit. Then she laughed a bit, "of course you may join me, I was actually on my way to the nearest town to get a new cloak for this weather. I would love some company along the way" She blushed, she has talked to men before, but one of her own kin as gotten her heart racing that only one other man has, but that other man isn't...

"Is your foot going to be okay? You can ride on Lump with me I'm sure he doesn't mind" Lump looked at the man and began sniffing him, although the bullbo seemed fine with him now.

Jerial: He tugged his poncho ever tighter to him as she spoke. "A new cloak sounds lovely right about now." The air had begin to nip at his flesh, turning it bright red wherever it was uncovered. He was starting to get quite homesick right about now, even if only for the desert heat. Glancing over, he noticed the large bullbo - Lump, he presumed - sniffing him curiously. He smiled at the creature and pet its head to show he was a friend and not a foe...or food. "I've never ridden on one before, but why not? I could use a little adventure. I appreciate the offer, Miss Vanda."

Vanda: Lump enjoyed the pets, and seemed content as his hand went through his fur. She smiled at him warmly, getting on top of Lump who let her with very little effort. Although Vanda was short compared to most Gerudo's. Vanda held out her hand, the other hand holding firmly on the reigns despite the cold weather. "You will ride on the back, it won't take long to get there, just hold on tight okay"

Jerial: Jerial gratefully took her hand, gracefully swinging up onto the back of the animal with ease. "That I can do." Though he answered confidently, he honestly was unsure of what exactly to hold on to. After deliberation between hips of the animal and hips of the Gerudo, he decided that he'd rather not die should the animal prove to not be a reliable grip and thus decided on the woman. "Excuse me, my lady, don't mean to startle you but I can't seem to find anything else to hold on to. Hope you don't mind," he added with a playful wink.

Vanda: Vanda couldn't help but smile, Jerial was sophisticated, and well mannered and very graceful. Her face went one step closer to tomato in color as Jerials hands wrap around her slightly larger then most waist. "U...huh yeah, no I don't mind. Of course" it was quite obvious she hasn't had many romantic interactions, they were few and far between. She slapped her face lightly trying to focus, with the cold, and the heat... Her eyes narrowed once more and she grabbed firmly onto the reins. "Alright Lump! HEYAH!" as the words were announced she gave a light click with her tongue, and Lump began to charge through the woods. The closer the clicks were together the faster Lump moved.

Jerial: Seeing the effect he had one the woman was more than a bit amusing to the dancer. That honestly hadn't been his intention, but she didn't seem to mind and so neither did he. The romantic tension quickly came to a close, however, as the ride began and Jerial clung to Vanda for dear life rather than to be a flirtatious little tease. He couldn't recall a single time when he'd been on a wild animal, and he'd certainly never imagined going this fast. "Good Goddess, we're going fast. Please tell me we're almost there."

Vanda: As the speed continued and Jerial hugged on tougher, she went from blushing romantically, to smiling and really enjoying herself, her cloak blew right off revealing the headwrap underneath and an unnaturally large smile on her face, her eyes closed. She laughed, uncharacteristically holding the reigns tight and leaning a bit more into the bullbo, the speed going fast her voice reaching higher volumes "HAHAHA! Yeah were almost there! you scared?" she teased yelling as the wind was getting more intense, you begin to see lights in the distance, the sun beginning to fall creating a dim sunset, as the snow fell. The nearest village was small, but it was still close.

Jerial: He wasn't sure a woman had ever mocked him since he had left home. Leave it to the Gerudo. "Please, a little high speed riding can't shake me." As soon as he spoke it, he suddenly found himself enjoying it just as much as his companion. He echoed her laugh with his own. The wind whistled through his hair and caused his poncho and sash to dance around him. "Fast and furious is the way I like it."

Vanda: "AS YOU WISH" the bullbo moved faster, and almost immediately reached the village. The laughter didn't last long as they got into town, the snow just lightly covering the lanterns and the roofs of the tavern, nearby was also a general goods store, that usually had assortment of things from seasonal clothing -> basic fishing supplies too -> tools, odds and ends, and non perishable foods like nuts. Vanda wrapped Lump to a post "Now Lump stay there, I will be back." *she turned to look at Jerial* "so shall we?" *she held out her hand that had some marks on it from the reigns.*

Jerial: Jerial glanced at her hands, giving her a smoldering look. "Why, Vanda, holding hands, already? You dog." Nonetheless, he took her hand as they went along their way. "You said you needed a new cloak, yes? I can't say I'm familiar with this town. Do you know the way to the marketplace?"

Vanda: Vanda blushed trying to ignore his comment she shook her head and got a bit more serious. She was here for clothes for winter, this man is just helping her.... a gerudo man... she tried to ignore it. "Yes well around here is just a general store I will take you too it, they usually have seasonal attire." *she walks further ahead, the snow fall made it hard to see but there was a building up ahead reading "General Goods" ahead. Lump stayed put for now.

Jerial: He was happy to leave the little beast behind. He was no fan of Bullbos, that much was for sure. Not to mention, the ride had left him feeling a bit unnerved - not that he'd ever let a fellow Gerudo know that. As they reached the entrance of the store, the dancer pushed the door open and motioned for his companion to go inside ahead of him. "No need for my lady to freeze, now is there? Some cloaks could do us good."

Vanda: *smiled brightly as a door was opened for her, almost surprised since she wasn't use to it, unless it was Jung or Pheonix. "Thank you, yes cloaks could do us some good I hope there prices are decent..." she says a little worried, her rupees have been lacking a bit lately. She walks around the store looking at all the supplies, picks and axes, empty waterskins, clothes and cloaks some more suited to winter, flint and steel boxes, pouches and belts, and general trail rations suit the log styled store, with hardwood floors, and dim candle lit over the store owner.

Villager: "Howdy! fancy seeing Gerudo's here in such a weather, stay and look around as long as you like!" he chuckles holding his big Hylian belly and then stroking his gray beard in thought.

Jerial: As he entered the facility, Jerial nearly shuddered at the shopkeeper. He nodded hesitantly, trying not to focus on his giant beer belly. Trying to distract himself, he began to peruse the various products on sale. "Hmm, not too bad, it seems. Nothing too steep, as far as prices go." He turned to his companion. "See anything you like so far?"

Vanda: She looked at her cloak and a fur lined one which was similar with a pretty high price tag. "Yeah this cloak looks perfect, how about you?" there was many cloaks/coats made for winter wear in this shop.

The shop keeper chuckled "Your lady has a good eye" he smiled then went back to what he was doing before.

Jerial: Seeing an opportunity, Jerial took it and ran with it. He slung an arm around Vanda's shoulder and smiled widely. "Ahh, yes, my lady always has such impeccable taste when it comes to fashion. Isn't that right, my dear?" He batted his eyelashes at her. Hope she knows how to play along. "Do you, by chance, have a newlyweds discount, sir? We're only wanderers, you see, and with very little money to spare, after the wedding and all."

Vanda: Vanda's eyes went wide in embarrassment she went red, but then quickly clued in and winked. "Ah yes, fashion was what brought us together after all, how considerate to remember my love~" she giggled, although at this point it was hard to tell if she was faking it.

The man looked closely and his eyes widen, his mouth wide opened "I'm so sorry! I should have know!! I just don't see two gerudo women... never mind absoluteness I can give you a deal just 50 rupees for both of your winter gear, of your choice!" he proclaimed loudly, then chuckled.

Jerial: Oh ho ho, so she did indeed know how to play along, hm? He'd have to keep that in mind - along with the blush that spread across her cheeks like wildfire. His enjoyment of the entire scenario, however, was cut short as soon as he realized that the shopkeeper thought them both to be women. Good Goddess, not again. Still, he would never let that show on his face - not when he was getting such a good deal, after all. He let out a light laugh. "What a considerate and kind man. We'd be fools not to take him up on such a generous offer, no?" He toyed with a light, long cloak with fur that lined the rim of the hood. "I think we've made our selections, right my love?"

Vanda: Vanda: *she nodded in affirmation too Jerial, however she still found it amusing that the store keep thought Jerial looked like a girl a laughed a bit, unintentionally. She then grabbed the red fur lined cloak "Yes, and such a fabulous choice you made deary. I would know after all" *she winked at him then put the rupees on the counter to pay for both of them. Throwing on the fur line cloak over her outfit trying to get the feel to it, a little concerned with how it looks on her.

Jerial: He eyed the young woman, marveling at her as she tried on the cloak for the first time. "My, my, don't you look ever-so-lovely? Such a beauty." He grinned wide and folded his arms in front of his chest. "Shall we go then, my love? We needn't overstay our welcome." He offered her his arm.

Vanda: she was getting use to his antics, and the flirting it was affecting her a bit less "Well thank you so much dear~" she grabbed his hand this still made her blush a bit and let him lead her out as is tradition. "We shall"

Villager: The man chuckled and smiled although still found them a bit suspicious but they brought buisness so he didn't sweat it "Overstay your welcome, no worries ladies you can come anytime!" he began to count the rupees he was given just to double check.

Jerial: As he led her out of the establishment and closed the door behind them, he nearly burst into laughter. "I see the good ol' Gerudo conman trait is alive and well in all of my kinsmen." He snickered, shooting her a playful glance. "That was very well done, my good woman. Do you use that beauty of yours to your advantage often?"

Vanda: *she laughed as well, she never done that before herself it was odd, but she really enjoyed it.* "I guess it is~" *she snickered and then was a bit taken back by the gerudo's comment "beauty? me? no-no I don't us-use, it." she laughed a bit awkwardly her breathe creating a small fog, but she realized she wasn't as cold although her face was still nippy.

Jerial: Ah, so she's new to this, hm? Perhaps I shouldn't corrupt her so. Then again, being a Gerudo seems to be corruption enough as it is. "That may be for the best - no need to sell yourself so short. I'm glad I was able to witness you using your talents so." He shivered as the cold air still nipped at him despite the cloak. "Although I do love these cloaks, I'd rather not have them be our blankets for the night. Shall we find an inn, then?"

Vanda: *talents? she thought about his comment before and blushed it was further increased by his proposal of taking her to an inn she pointed at him then at herself , but before she talked she realized that's probably not what the gerudo meant he probably meant separate rooms, for some reason this man messes with her rational thinking, she put her finger down.."A-hah.. an Inn I mean.. yes of course somewhere warm to sleep tonight. I really do like this cloak but my face is still cold" she thought for a second then put her finger up as if she got an idea grabbing her keaton mask from the back and putting it on "There! now my face is protect, how do I look?" she was smiling but the male could no longer see, but it was probably evident in her voice.

Jerial: He was rather confused as the woman's finger switched back and forth between pointing at him and pointing at herself. Had he said something strange? Normally he was one to catch on quite quickly to these things, but she had left him a bit puzzled. All that showed on his face, however, was a mere cocked eyebrow and a half-smirk. "I don't think either of us would rather sleep out in the cold, accustomed as we may have become to staying out in the wilderness." He gazed at the mask she wore curiously. That was a Keaton, if memory served. But why would she have one? "Ah, how charming it is on you, my dear. But tell me, why does one of my kinsman have the mask of another race?"

Vanda: Her eyes widened, she forgot that of course it would seem weird for her to wear such an object, she couldn't dare lie to him. But before she could speak she begins coughing a bit "My apologies, yes lets walk to the tavern" she began walking having a slight blush at his comment. "Ah yes the Keaton Mask, I claimed it... from some not to good people" she whispered "A Black Market Operation specifically..., I plan to find the owner of this mask and return it..."

Jerial: He nodded, his expression clearly showing how impressed she was. "You took down a Black Market operation all on your own? Well then, that's impressive." The second part of her statement struck him as odd, though. "Returning it to its proper own, though, seems a bit strange to me. Noble, of course, but also seemingly impossible. How do you plan on accomplishing that?" He asked, not intending to sound rude but he was honestly a bit baffled.

Vanda: Nodded, blushing a bit at his words. As the conversation switched back to her mask she sighed. "I know the owner is more then likely... not in this world anymore. But even to a grave, or the Keatons Family. I just... death has always been sacred in my tribe, and I know a Keaton's mask is a part of them... It's more of a personal mission. " She continued walking toward the Inn stopping in front of the door. She had answered so many of this Gerudo's questions... but she had so many of her own, but she didn't wanna pry, after all they only just met... She titled her head and gave him a quick curious look.

Jerial: His expression grew solemn as he listened to her tale, nodding every so often to show her that he understood. "That's quite honorable, then. May it be so, someday." He grew nervous upon seeing her give him such a strange look. "What's the matter, hm? Do I have something on my face?"

Vanda: Vanda shook her head. "There is nothing, my apologies." she oppened the door and grined "Beauty before -cough-brains, lets get a room" again the wording on that made her blush a but she was sure Jerial would knew what she mean't.

Jerial: The mood instantly lightened, his grin returning to his face at once. So, she could play along, hm? Impressive. "My thoughts exactly." He nodded to her in thanks as he walked through the doorway and up to the receptionist counter. After a moment of chitchat mingled with flirtation, he produced a pair of room keys. "Works every time. You'd be surprised how far our natural charm works on these country bumpkins." He tossed a single key to her. "And as much as I'd be flattered in sharing a room, I don't move quite so fast."

Vanda: She blushed at his comment about sharing a room, but then laughed it off "You sure have a way with words" She took the key and nodded to him. "Well it was a pleasure meeting you, will we ever meet again?" she questioned curiously before coughing a few times.

Jerial: He thought he spotted a glimpse of hope shimmering in those golden eyes of her. That sparkle made him smile all the wider. "My dear," he whispered sweetly, picking up her hand with care, "our fates are intertwined. I'm sure I'lll be seeing you again, very soon." Gently, he leaned down and placed a kiss on her knuckle and released her from his grasp. "Be waiting with baited breath for me, won't you?" With a wink, he waved her goodbye and departed into a room of his own.
Guys. GUYS. IT IS COMPLETE -angels come down from heaven and begin singing- I am a dummy!
I don't think you understand how long this has been in the making. Looker and I have been working on this little beauty since I joined the group. For reference's sake, I joined the second day of February. That's four entire months that it took to finish this. But now (well, okay, several days ago but crazy schedule kept me from submitting this) it is finished.

This is where it all started. This is where the magic happened. This is where the group's first two Gerudo (to my knowledge anyway? Feel free to correct me on that one) met and bonded...and flirted...a lot. But hey, that's why we love them.

NOTE: EXP and Rupees to Jerial and Vanda, please!
